Good numbers of Adonis Blue butterflies on the Bulwarks walking south from Windmill Road on the afternoon of the 30th May. Had not expected to find any as it was very overcast and breezy, but I expect they had not had a chance to read the guide book! Also along-side the small hawthorn bush on the Bulwarks, about 300 yards from the road, over ten spikes of Bee Orchids found, many in flower
