Walk led by Michael and Mary, on Rodborough Common, looking for the re-established Large Blue butterfly. We shall do a circular walk mainly towards the west-facing slopes, hoping to see some Large Blues. (This should be peak season for the Blues - but we rely on the weather and vagaries of invertebrate behaviour.) Note that we will probably need to descend some way on the steep western slopes, so come well shod.

Meet at the car park on Rodborough Common at SO 85113 03505. This is the first car park after passing The Bear and “The Hithe” walled estate on your left, travelling from Minch. If full, the second car park 100m further on at the bend in the road is the back-up. (They are close enough so that the group will be able to see everyone.)
